The death of Windows XP may have been greatly exaggerated.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer said the company could re-evaluate its plans to phase out Windows XP by June 30, if customers demand that it stick around. So far, they have not.
"XP will hit an end-of-life. We have announced one. If customer feedback varies, we can always wake up smarter, but right now, we have a plan for end-of-life for new XP shipments," Ballmer said during a Thursday news conference in Belgium, according to Reuters.
Big-name computer makers are still scheduled to have to stop selling models with Windows XP installed by the end of June. Mainstream technical support will continue to be available for Windows XP through April 2009, and more limited support will continue through April 2014.

Microsoft does plan to continue selling Windows XP for a limited class of PCs it calls "ultralow-cost PCs." It's a category that covers machines with slower processors, smaller screens and, in many cases, flash memory, rather than a traditional hard drive, for storage.
Ballmer said most consumers are choosing to buy the current version of Windows, Vista. Many acquire Vista by default, however, since most new PCs ship with the operating system. Businesses have been slower to catch on, as many have clung to Windows XP and older versions of Windows.
While Microsoft ponders yet another stay of execution for Windows XP, it's readying a new version of Windows, being developed under the code name "Windows 7."
Earlier this month, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates indicated that Windows 7 could come within the next year--in some form, possibly a developer-oriented version--far ahead of the development schedule previously indicated by the software maker.
Ballmer on Thursday also reiterated Microsoft's intention of appealing directly to Yahoo shareholders, if the company rejects Microsoft's offer of $43.6 billion for the company.
"We've sent them a letter that says, 'it's a good price; please let us know. If you don't let us know, maybe your shareholders will think it's a good price,'" Reuters reported.

Microsoft's pursuit of Yahoo may have run into some bumps, but its big software business is humming along smoothly.
The company reported quarterly earnings Thursday that slightly surpassed Wall Street's expectations, and it provided an optimistic outlook for its 2009 fiscal year, which begins in July.
The faltering American economy, Microsoft executives said, has not had a big impact on the company. Two-thirds of Microsoft's revenue now comes from overseas sales, and demand for many of its products remained healthy in the United States.
"We have not seen any significant spillover to our business," Christopher P. Liddell, Microsoft's chief financial officer, said of the broader economy's problems in a conference call with analysts.
During the call, Mr. Liddell spoke briefly about Microsoft's unsolicited offer for Yahoo, mainly echoing the tone of comments this week by Steven A. Ballmer, the company's chief executive. Mr. Liddell said he did not favor raising Microsoft's bid, which was worth $44.6 billion when it was announced in February and $44.1 billion at the close of trading on Thursday.
"The strongest argument I have heard for increasing our bid -- simply that we can afford to -- is not one that I favor," Mr. Liddell said.
Speaking in Milan on Wednesday, Mr. Ballmer held out the possibility that Microsoft might drop its efforts to take over Yahoo if its management continued to spurn the offer.
"We are prepared to go forward without a merger," Mr. Ballmer said.
His comment, most analysts say, was probably a gesture intended to put more pressure on Yahoo's board.
A proxy battle for control of Yahoo, analysts say, is a more likely alternative. On April 5, Mr. Ballmer sent a letter to Yahoo's directors, threatening to oust the board and lower the cash-and-stock offer unless Yahoo started negotiations within three weeks. That deadline is Saturday. Mr. Liddell said the company would decide how to proceed next week.
Microsoft had some weak spots in its quarterly performance. Revenue from its Windows personal-computer operating system was somewhat lower than most analysts' estimates. But Mr. Liddell attributed that to higher demand in developing nations, which are less likely to buy higher-priced versions than developed markets. He also said that piracy has picked up in some Asian markets.
Microsoft's mainstay desktop software, data center software and video game businesses all delivered strong performances. "It was a little weak in the Windows client business, but it was a solid performance overall and the guidance for 2009 was strong," said Charles di Bona, an analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein.
But Microsoft's shares fell in after-hours trading. Mr. Di Bona said one reason might have been that some investors were expecting that Microsoft would make clear whether it was going to proceed with its Yahoo bid.
The stock fell 5 percent in after-hours trading, to $30.20. In the regular session it rose 35 cents to $31.80.
Microsoft reported net income for the quarter of $4.4 billion, or 47 cents a share. Profit, as expected, declined from the year-earlier quarter, when the company earned 50 cents a share.
A year ago, Microsoft's net profit was inflated by $1.14 billion because of a one-time surge in revenue, related to coupon programs to cope with delays in the shipment of Windows Vista and Office 2007.
Microsoft's sales rose slightly in the most recent quarter to $14.45 billion, compared with $14.40 billion in the year-earlier quarter.
The company's profits were above the Wall Street consensus estimate of 44 cents a share, as compiled by Thomson Financial. Its revenue was a bit below analysts' estimate of $14.5 billion.
For its 2009 fiscal year, starting in July, Microsoft said it expected revenue of $66.9 billion to $68 billion, and earnings of $2.13 to $2.19 a share.
The quarterly results underline once again how much the main engines of the company's performance are its desktop PC products, Windows and Office. Those two big, lucrative businesses are healthy and growing.
The two product groups reported total sales of $8.77 billion, accounting for 61 percent of revenue, and operating profits of $6.24 billion, or 86 percent of profits from the business units.
The division making server software that runs data centers has become another large and profitable business for Microsoft. It generated revenue of $3.26 billion and operating profits of $1.09 billion.
The Xbox video game division, which also includes computer hardware like keyboards and mice, generated solid growth, up 68 percent to $1.58 billion. After years of investment, the game unit is now profitable, reporting operating profits of $89 million.
The online business remains a weak spot and a strategic necessity for Microsoft as software shifts away from the PC desktop to be delivered as a service over the Internet. Google and others are offering online software that poses a long-term challenge to Microsoft's desktop programs.
The online business lost $228 million on revenue of $843 million. The revenue got a one-time lift from the inclusion of results from aQuantive, an online ad agency that Microsoft bought last May for $6 billion.

Microsoft's pursuit of Yahoo may have run into some bumps, but its big software business is humming along smoothly.
The company reported quarterly earnings Thursday that slightly surpassed Wall Street's expectations, and it provided an optimistic outlook for its 2009 fiscal year, which begins in July.
The faltering American economy, Microsoft executives said, has not had a big impact on the company. Two-thirds of Microsoft's revenue now comes from overseas sales, and demand for many of its products remained healthy in the United States.
"We have not seen any significant spillover to our business," Christopher P. Liddell, Microsoft's chief financial officer, said of the broader economy's problems in a conference call with analysts.
During the call, Mr. Liddell spoke briefly about Microsoft's unsolicited offer for Yahoo, mainly echoing the tone of comments this week by Steven A. Ballmer, the company's chief executive. Mr. Liddell said he did not favor raising Microsoft's bid, which was worth $44.6 billion when it was announced in February and $44.1 billion at the close of trading on Thursday.
"The strongest argument I have heard for increasing our bid -- simply that we can afford to -- is not one that I favor," Mr. Liddell said.
Speaking in Milan on Wednesday, Mr. Ballmer held out the possibility that Microsoft might drop its efforts to take over Yahoo if its management continued to spurn the offer.
"We are prepared to go forward without a merger," Mr. Ballmer said.
His comment, most analysts say, was probably a gesture intended to put more pressure on Yahoo's board.
A proxy battle for control of Yahoo, analysts say, is a more likely alternative. On April 5, Mr. Ballmer sent a letter to Yahoo's directors, threatening to oust the board and lower the cash-and-stock offer unless Yahoo started negotiations within three weeks. That deadline is Saturday. Mr. Liddell said the company would decide how to proceed next week.
Microsoft had some weak spots in its quarterly performance. Revenue from its Windows personal-computer operating system was somewhat lower than most analysts' estimates. But Mr. Liddell attributed that to higher demand in developing nations, which are less likely to buy higher-priced versions than developed markets. He also said that piracy has picked up in some Asian markets.
Microsoft's mainstay desktop software, data center software and video game businesses all delivered strong performances. "It was a little weak in the Windows client business, but it was a solid performance overall and the guidance for 2009 was strong," said Charles di Bona, an analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein.
But Microsoft's shares fell in after-hours trading. Mr. Di Bona said one reason might have been that some investors were expecting that Microsoft would make clear whether it was going to proceed with its Yahoo bid.
The stock fell 5 percent in after-hours trading, to $30.20. In the regular session it rose 35 cents to $31.80.
Microsoft reported net income for the quarter of $4.4 billion, or 47 cents a share. Profit, as expected, declined from the year-earlier quarter, when the company earned 50 cents a share.
A year ago, Microsoft's net profit was inflated by $1.14 billion because of a one-time surge in revenue, related to coupon programs to cope with delays in the shipment of Windows Vista and Office 2007.
Microsoft's sales rose slightly in the most recent quarter to $14.45 billion, compared with $14.40 billion in the year-earlier quarter.
The company's profits were above the Wall Street consensus estimate of 44 cents a share, as compiled by Thomson Financial. Its revenue was a bit below analysts' estimate of $14.5 billion.
For its 2009 fiscal year, starting in July, Microsoft said it expected revenue of $66.9 billion to $68 billion, and earnings of $2.13 to $2.19 a share.
The quarterly results underline once again how much the main engines of the company's performance are its desktop PC products, Windows and Office. Those two big, lucrative businesses are healthy and growing.
The two product groups reported total sales of $8.77 billion, accounting for 61 percent of revenue, and operating profits of $6.24 billion, or 86 percent of profits from the business units.
The division making server software that runs data centers has become another large and profitable business for Microsoft. It generated revenue of $3.26 billion and operating profits of $1.09 billion.
The Xbox video game division, which also includes computer hardware like keyboards and mice, generated solid growth, up 68 percent to $1.58 billion. After years of investment, the game unit is now profitable, reporting operating profits of $89 million.
The online business remains a weak spot and a strategic necessity for Microsoft as software shifts away from the PC desktop to be delivered as a service over the Internet. Google and others are offering online software that poses a long-term challenge to Microsoft's desktop programs.
The online business lost $228 million on revenue of $843 million. The revenue got a one-time lift from the inclusion of results from aQuantive, an online ad agency that Microsoft bought last May for $6 billion.

The death of Windows XP may have been greatly exaggerated.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer said the company could re-evaluate its plans to phase out Windows XP by June 30, if customers demand that it stick around. So far, they have not.
"XP will hit an end-of-life. We have announced one. If customer feedback varies, we can always wake up smarter, but right now, we have a plan for end-of-life for new XP shipments," Ballmer said during a Thursday news conference in Belgium, according to Reuters.
Big-name computer makers are still scheduled to have to stop selling models with Windows XP installed by the end of June. Mainstream technical support will continue to be available for Windows XP through April 2009, and more limited support will continue through April 2014.

Microsoft does plan to continue selling Windows XP for a limited class of PCs it calls "ultralow-cost PCs." It's a category that covers machines with slower processors, smaller screens and, in many cases, flash memory, rather than a traditional hard drive, for storage.
Ballmer said most consumers are choosing to buy the current version of Windows, Vista. Many acquire Vista by default, however, since most new PCs ship with the operating system. Businesses have been slower to catch on, as many have clung to Windows XP and older versions of Windows.
While Microsoft ponders yet another stay of execution for Windows XP, it's readying a new version of Windows, being developed under the code name "Windows 7."
Earlier this month, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates indicated that Windows 7 could come within the next year--in some form, possibly a developer-oriented version--far ahead of the development schedule previously indicated by the software maker.
Ballmer on Thursday also reiterated Microsoft's intention of appealing directly to Yahoo shareholders, if the company rejects Microsoft's offer of $43.6 billion for the company.
"We've sent them a letter that says, 'it's a good price; please let us know. If you don't let us know, maybe your shareholders will think it's a good price,'" Reuters reported.

Hackers have injected malicious code into hundreds of thousands of reputable web pages, turning them into launchpads for attacks that silently install malware on the machines of those who visit them. The UK's Civil Service and the United Nations were among those who had been hacked.
This Yahoo search returned 173,000 results for the term "nihaorr1," which is part of the address that uses a malicious javascript to attack end users. The rogue URL horns its way onto web pages through a SQL injection vulnerability in IIS and possibly other web servers, according to IT-related web forums.
Websense, which wrote about the mass infection Tuesday, said the attackers perpetrated a similar assault a few weeks ago on news and travel sites. Little is known about the group responsible, except that they're using the nihaorr1.com domain name, which appears on the surface to be registered to someone in Shanghai.
Users visiting an infected site will be redirected to a series of sites that eventually tries to exploit eight different vulnerabilities, all of which have been patched.
We've written plenty about vulnerabilities in browsers, media players and other types of software that are triggered only after the mark visits a website under the control of the attacker. Almost inevitably, a Reg reader comments that only a fool would be drawn to such a place. As mass infections like this one make clear, anyone who visits pages belonging to well-known news and travel sites, the United Nations or governmental agencies on either side of the Atlantic is susceptible.
So if you haven't patched that old version of iTunes or AIM in a while, now might a good time. ®

In a recent Hassle-Free PC column, I awarded the Revo Uninstaller a spot in the Tool of the Month section.
The biggest problem with the uninstaller in Microsoft Windows--besides loading slowly and holding back vital info--is that it relies on each vendor's uninstall routine. That means bits and pieces of the unwanted program may remain on your PC. It might be a couple of entries in the Registry, a few DLLs, or a folder full of disk-filling junk.
On one hand, the leftovers may be benign and just take up space. With humongous hard drives, that's simply a nuisance. But on the other hand, some of the debris could interfere if you were to install a newer version of the same program sometime in the future. That's happened to me with Check Point's Zone Alarm firewall; the newer installation didn't complete correctly.
Of course, an incomplete uninstallation isn't always a bad thing. For instance, one photo editing app offered me the option of leaving images I'd modified on the drive even though I was removing the program. The key was that the program was respecting me as a user and offering smart options, something most programs don't do.
Revo: The King of Uninstallers
Revo is a little known--and marvelous--tool for removing programs from your PC. I promise it'll exceed your expectations for a freebie and surpass anything Windows has to offer. Except for 64-bit operating systems, Revo is compatible with all versions of Windows. Grab a copy from us.
Revo gives me the details that the Windows uninstaller doesn't: It lists every program's version and location on the drive, tells when the app was installed, and provides links to vendor sites. Curious about a program? Right-click it and hit Google: Your browser opens with a Web search on the program. Or you can highlight a program's name and open its folder or Registry entry.
Most important is that Revo really scrubs your system clean when uninstalling a program. Revo first uses the app's uninstall routine and then scans your PC to find any odds and ends. Revo's wizard then gives you the option to remove them all from the Registry.
There's one thing that Revo doesn't make clear: Revo shows the entire Registry listing--not just the relevant entries--and warns you to delete only the Registry entries marked in bold. That's an unnecessary warning because Revo lets you check mark the entire tree rather than selecting individually bolded items. Only bolded marked items--those with blue icons--are deleted.
One quibble: Revo needs to be more like CCleaner and provide an undo feature or an automatic Registry entry backup.

Revo's Hidden Helpers
I use Revo to uninstall programs, but it has other features you might want to try. From the Tools icon, you can get quick access to 14 Windows tools that are in Control Panel, including Add/Remove Windows Components and Group Policy. The Junk Files Cleaner scans all your local drives for temporary files; you can customize it by adding file extensions of your favorite temp files.
The one feature I don't use is the Hunter Mode, a way to uninstall apps using drag and drop. You might like it, but I'd prefer right-clicking a program's Desktop icon (or highlighting a file in Windows Explorer) and seeing an uninstall option using Revo. In the meantime, I've pinned Revo to my Start menu for quick access--you can do that by right-clicking the Revo icon in your Start menu and choosing Pin to Start Menu.
Bulgaria? No Kidding!
More than a few readers, me included, wanted to know more about Revo--like where were the developers are located. Roger H. subscribes to my newsletter and he found out: Revo was created by a group of developers in Varna, Bulgaria. Revo is their first worldwide project, a company rep said in an e-mail.

Here I'll show you how to rid your PC of nefarious, spyware-infected programs, explain why you sometimes receive strange e-mail from your own address, and teach you how to stay safe on unsecured public wireless networks.

How Do I Get Rid of a Spyware-Carrying Program That Won't Uninstall?

Revo Uninstaller goes well beyond the capabilities of the standard Windows uninstall utility to give you cleaner, more complete application removals.
The uninstaller that comes with a malicious program isn't likely to do much good. Still, you might try running it with Revo Uninstaller, a freebie that runs an application's own uninstall function, and then scans the hard drive and Registry for leftovers (there are usually some). I'm not sure how effective it will be against a malicious program, but it's certainly worth a try.
If that doesn't work, try to manually delete the program file or folder. And if Windows won't let you do that, try Cedrick Collomb's free Unlocker.
Unlocker lets you override the permissions on a file or folder, overcoming errors that keep you from deleting harmful files.
Once installed, Unlocker comes up automatically when Windows refuses to delete, move, or rename a file or folder, or you can launch it from the file or folder's context menu. Also, once it's up, it shows you what processes are hanging onto the culprit and lets you kill them. (My thanks to Mphenterprises of the Answer Line Forum for recommending Unlocker.)
You can also try Windows' System Restore:
In Windows XP, select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore; choose Restore my computer to an earlier time; and then click Next. Pick the earliest Restore Point available, and follow the prompts.
In Vista, click Start, type rstrui, and press Enter; select Choose a different restore point, click Next, and check Show restore points older than 5 days. Click Next. Pick the earliest Restore Point available, and follow the prompts.
If that doesn't work, try running System Restore in Safe Mode: Reboot your PC and press F8 just before Windows loads (you may need to try a few times to get the timing right). At the resulting menu, select Safe Mode with Command Prompt and pick your operating system. At the command prompt, type C:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui (just rstrui in Vista), press Enter, and try running System Restore from there.
Another option: Since you have a name for the program you can't remove, you might be able to find removal instructions via your favorite search engine. Add the word remove to your search string, and avoid any link from the company that makes the program or any site that seems to have a positive opinion of it.
Still can't get rid of the vicious thug? Try HiJackThis, a free utility now from TrendMicro. HiJackThis creates a very technical report on your system's suspicious Windows behavior. You probably won't be able to make heads or tails of it, but there are plenty of Internet forums where friendly people can help you decipher HiJackThis reports and recommend a course of action. Go to Trend Micro's Analyzing your HijackThis Log page for links to many of these forums.
If nothing else works, reformatting your hard drive is the last desperate measure to take. But back up your data first. In fact, if you already have a full backup of your data (as you should), make an extra backup, anyway. The more, the safer.
I can't tell you exactly how to reformat your hard drive and reinstall Windows, because that depends on whether you have a good backup of the operating system made before the infection, what kind of recovery capabilities came with your PC, and if you have a genuine Windows XP or Vista disc. If you have a good system backup made with an imaging program like Ghost and True Image, restoring that is much easier than reinstalling everything.
The next best option is an actual Windows disc. Pick the option that erases everything on the drive before installing Windows. It's safer.
Otherwise you'll have to use what recovery features came with your computer. In most cases, this will return the hard drive to its factory condition. Then you'll have to remove the programs you don't want.
However you do it, once Windows is working, you'll need to install your security software and your applications, update everything, and then restore your data from the backup.
You're almost certainly doing no such thing. I once received the same spam message from a friend and from myself. I sent out a notice to people who knew both of us, and sure enough, a third party had the infection.
Most spam is sent from infected PCs, but the malware tries to hide the identity of the infected computer. To that end, it spoofs (forges) the Sender address.
A little more detail: The malware searches the infected PC's hard drive for e-mail addresses and sends spam out to them. But it also uses some of these addresses for spoofing purposes. So if you get spam from yourself, that means someone with your e-mail address has an infected computer.
What can you do about it? Not much. But if only a few people have your e-mail address, you might try letting them know about the problem. One of them has an infected PC.
And if someone complains that you're sending them spam, send them a link to this article.
Don't go online without knowing it. Shut off your Wi-Fi if you don't need the Internet. That will save batter power, as well.
Make sure you're using the right network. When you log onto a wireless network, Windows will show you the Service Set Identifiers (SSIDs) of all the networks within range. Make sure you're getting onto the right one (you may have to ask an employee).
Turn off file and printer sharing. In XP: 1. Select Start and right-click My Network Places. 2. In the resulting Network Connections window, right-click the network in question and select Properties. 3. In the resulting dialog box's General tab, uncheck Client for Microsoft Networks and File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks. Click OK.
To safeguard your Vista PC on a public network, set the network location type to Public.
Vista does this automatically if it recognizes the network's unsecured status--which it always has in my experience. To check and possibly change this setting, do the following: 1. Select Start, Network. 2. Click Network and Sharing Center. 3. If it says "(Public network)" next to the network name, and you're actually connected to a public network, simply close this window because you're done. If it doesn't: 4. Click the Customize button across from the network name. 5. Select Public, click Next, then Close.
Be careful what you do. Never make a purchase, use online banking, or enter anything sensitive from a public Internet connection. Avoid using passwords as much as possible.

Windows Vista customers can now receive the first service pack for the operating system via the Microsoft Automatic Update service, Microsoft said Wednesday.
Windows Vista Service Pack 1 will download automatically to PCs that have the automatic update feature of the OS turned on, the company said. Previously, Vista was available to customers via Windows Update, but people had to specifically download it.
Not all customers will receive SP1 immediately via Automatic Update, however. The company is distributing it in phases to "ensure a seamless download experience," Microsoft said. A timeline for when all customers would receive Vista SP1 via Automatic Update was not immediately available.
SP1 is a rollout of software updates that fix bugs and glitches in Vista and is seen as a milestone that will inspire many customers -- especially those in the business market -- to adopt the OS. In fact, in a recent report, "Building the Business Case for Windows Vista," Forrester Research said more business customers plan to upgrade to Vista now that SP1 is available. This comes as no surprise, considering companies often wait for the first service pack after a major Windows release to update corporate desktops.
However, even SP1 will not guarantee that enterprises and business customers currently running XP or an earlier version of Windows will upgrade, as some have said they would skip the OS altogether. The same Forrester report said as much, although the research firm is recommending that companies don't skip Vista because they would not be well-positioned for future versions of Windows if they do.
Microsoft has acknowledged problems with application compatibility and lack of driver support, among others, that customers have had with Vista. It says SP1 and other updates that the company continues to make should remedy these problems. What the company hasn't said is why there were so many problems with the OS when the company had more than five years between the releases of Windows XP and Vista to ensure a smooth transition.
In fact, Microsoft seems to be looking past Vista to the future rather than addressing continued concerns about the product. In a meeting with reporters on Microsoft's Redmond, Washington, campus on Tuesday, a presentation on Windows Vista turned out to be anything but that.
Instead, Shannen Boettcher, general manager of Windows product management at Microsoft, discussed future plans for tools to virtualize corporate desktops and applications. He implied this would be an important aspect of the Windows client OS going forward, but was vague about timing.
Apart from that, Boettcher's main discussion specifically about Vista was a mention of its green-computing merits. He asserted that upgrading 10 corporate desktops to Vista is comparable to taking one automobile off the road in terms of reducing carbon footprint.
When asked about criticism of Vista in the marketplace and why there were so many problems after five years of development, Boettcher had little to say other than to acknowledge that Microsoft did not do "a very good job in preparing people for when we shipped" Vista.
He added, however, that the upgrade cycle for an OS doesn't begin to pick up until 12 months to 18 months after the OS is released, and since Vista was released to business customers in November 2007, it's right on schedule.

We have Urgent Requirements For EDS – Chennai Exp : 4 – 10 Years Role Overview: · Develop new Lotus Notes applications, tools, and processes that will be used by the Messaging Engineering team, Systems Management Center (SMC) Operations team, and/or the GM customer. These are frequently projects to assist with GM Domino domain management and user management.
Interface with the SMC Operations team, Messaging Engineering team, and GM Program Office to refine requirements, test applications/tools, support user acceptance testing (UAT), provide status updates and promote solutions into production.
Document project requirements, risks, design, test plans, deployment procedures and operation/support procedures following Quality Management Process (QMS) standards.
Provide production support for issues and enhancements after projects are implemented.
Technical Skills and Experiences: · 2 years of experience with Domino application development (at least one year of experience in Domino R6 application development) · Development experience in R8 is a plus · Knowledge and experience coding in Lotus Script · Knowledge and experience coding with Notes API (both Windows and Unix) a plus. · CLS certification in Domino R6 Application Development Unique Requirements:
• Participation in Quality Management Process (QMS) and CMMI Process training. • Access to Model Office server resources in the United States can be coordinated. However, there will be some specific client resources that will need to be provided locally for development/testing (to ensure compatibility with versions of software being used by the SMC and the GM customer). At the current time this would be 2-4 laptops or desktop computers with Lotus Notes releases R6.5.4 and R8.0.1.
